Welcome to the Troll Park!

Do you want to experience something fun and exciting this summer? Bring all your family and friends to Hunderfossen Family Park in Lillehammer for a day of relaxation, joy and amusement. The troll is guarding important treasures from the Norwegian culture: Hunderfossen Family Park, situated in beautiful surroundings has attractions based on Norwegian culture and traditions. Play, learn and experience are the theme of all attractions in the Park - more than 50 activities and attractions for all ages!

Eldorado of activities

In the Park you will find an eldorado of activities - like The Children's Farm, swimming pool and children's water playground, car-tracks for all ages including electrical GoCarts,  Gold Diggers Area, The Troll Drop and various types of entertainment during the summer. These are just some of the activities and still there is more to come… enough activities to fill the whole day - and even two!

Petra and Cool Creeps!

A spectacular 4 Dimensional Show, where you will be introduced to the cute ladybug Petra, and her bark beetle friends in the forest. You can see them, you can hear them - and you can even feel them too!

Hunderfossen Rafting

This is so fun - and you better not be afraid of water when you enter our boats to float down the river. Splashing water, waterfalls and several surprises will come up! And everybody can join the rafting - you just got to try this! Hunderfossen Rafting is one of our latest attractions, and is an artificial river of almost half a kilometre! It might look a bit dramatic, but we assure you it is totally safe, and fun for both young and old.

Fairytale Palace

The World of fairytales becomes real when you enter the gates to the 37 metres tall Fairytale Palace. The Norwegian folk stories have been an important part of our culture for generations. Now, finally, we can be a part of the fairytales ourselves. Journey trough the interior of the palace and meet the princesses, the King, the trolls and many other odd characters from the old story. A unique setting in a mysterious atmosphere. Join the ride!

High Ropes Course

NB:   An extra ticket is required for this attraction.  There are 4 different tracks: 

Green track:  Warmup- and training track in 2 metres height. 6 easy obstacles which takes you from tree to tree. This is a foretaste of the challenges hich you may expect in the more demanding tracks, like the blue, red and black. Compulsory. Min 10 years and 140 cm.

Blue track: More demanding track in 3-5 metres height with 11 obstacles.
Some find it quite scary to crawl through the barrels…
Min 10 years and 140 cm.

Red track: Starts at 7 metres height, and from here through more than 20 obstacles. This demands a lot of concentration
when you pass through the swinging bridges. Ends in an 80 metres long ride in the air above the rafting area. Min 12 years and 150 cm.

Black track: For the tough ones! This track is placed 14 metres  above the churning waters of the rafting area. More than 20 obstacles. Min 15 years and 160 cm.

TRANSPORTATION:

NSB - Norwegian Rail

Hunderfossen has its own trainstation! Some trains to and from Oslo and Trondheim stops at Hunderfossen Station. More info: www.nsb.no

Summer bus

The Summer bus departs several times a day from the mid of June to the mid of August between Lillehammer railroad station and Hunderfossen Family Park. The bus stops right outside the gate to the Park

Exciting entertainment - several performances daily

Welcome all year round!

The Troll welcomes you during the entire year. Besides the long summer season (end of May until primo September), groups may book guided tours in the main attractions. Please contact us for further information including arrangements in our unique restaurant, Trollsalen. Welcome!
